The period dedicated to national championships has finally begun, and many UAE Development Team athletes will participate in these exciting competitions. The first good news came from Estonia. In fact in Otepää Elisabeth Ebras won the road race and became the new national champion of Estonia U23.

"It was super hot day and I had not competed in these weather conditions for a long time," explained Elisabeth Ebras, "so I did not know how my body would react. But I felt good and I felt that I was controlling the race the whole time. At the end there was three girls left and the last lap was really slow, there were a lot of 'mind games' going on. With 500 m to go a girl attacked on the last climb and then I just went past her at the end".

This race was the first of three races in which Elisabeth Ebras will participate. In fact, the UAE Development Team rider will participate in the national time trial championship (June 20) and the national road championship (June 25).

Elisabeth's victory was not the only good news for the UAE Development Team. In fact, on June 14 in Lviv Yuliia Biriukova took the silver medal at the TT National Championships of Ukraine. The official awards will take place before the National Road Championships on Saturday, June 17.
