Izbor iz umetniškega fonda OGP v Mestni galeriji Piran (do 21. avgusta 2022) in NA DRUGI STRANI, prostorska postavitev Portorožanke Daniele Danice Tepeš, v Galeriji Monfort Portorož (do 21. avgusta 2022).
Kot smo že napovedali ima v letošnjem razstavnem programu posebno mesto mednarodna skupinska razstava s sugestivnim naslovom (EVERYTHING IS) NOT WHAT IT SEEMS / VSE NI TAKO, KOT SE ZDI, ki bo na ogled v norveškem umetniškem centru NITJA Center za sodobno umetnost, Lillestrøm/Oslo (od 20. avgusta do 25. septembra 2022).
Projekt nastaja v koprodukciji NITJA (Center for Contemporary Art) iz Norveške, eminentne ustanove Arts Council Norway in Obalnih galerij Piran. Razstavo je na povabilo centra NITJA zasnovala in oblikovala gostujoča kustosinja Mara Ambrožič Verderber, direktorica Obalnih galerij Piran. Ta vključuje izbor umetniških del šestnajstih, na svetovnem umetniškem prizorišču uveljavljenih umetnikov: Primož Bizjak (Slovenija), Vincent Ceraudo (Francija), Nemanja Cvijanović (Hrvaška), Andrea Fraser (ZDA), Meta Grgurevič (Slovenija), Anawana Haloba (Zambija/Norveška), Einat Cohen (Izrael), Corinne Mazzoli (Italija), Ane Mette Hol (Norveška), Emil Memon (Slovenija/ZDA), Hanna Filomen Mjåvatn (Norveška) & Kira Senkpiel (Nemčija), Nika Neelova (Velika Britanija), Kathryn Smith (Južna Afrika), Andrej Škufca (Slovenija), Lučka Šparovec (Slovenija), Robert Watts (ZDA).

The peak of this year’s summer season will be diverse, internationally and locally oriented as well as playful and fun. In the second half of August, the Piran Coastal Galleries will introduce themselves in Norway with a big international exhibition, while at the end of summer, Piran will see a rich cultural programme of the traditional EX-TEMPORE PIRAN, which has been running in this picturesque town uninterruptedly for more than half a century.
Until the end of August, you can visit two popular exhibits in Piran: PANORAMA: A selection from the art fund of the Piran Coastal Galleries in the Piran City Gallery (until 21 August 2022) and NA DRUGI STRANI / ON THE OTHER SIDE by DANIELA DANICA TEPEŠ in the Monfort Gallery in Portorož (until 21 August 2022).

The exhibition offers the spectator an experience that is scientific, witty, beautiful, and accessible to the wider public at the same time.
