The Pan-Slovenian Investors' & Shareholders'Association (VZMD) congratulates Mr. Ludvik Topak, President of the VZMD Expert Council, for the national decoration Golden Order for Merits, awarded to him on Statehood Day by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Borut Pahor, for exceptional contribution to democratization and independence of Slovenia, and its international and academic recognition.
Professor Ludvik Toplak, Ph.D., is an eminent lawyer, professor, founder and president of ALMA MATER EUROPAEA – ECM, former Rector of the University of Maribor, former Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Holy See in Vatican and member of the first Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia and former President of the Socio-Political Chamber, and has been actively involved in VZMD's operations and efforts since its formation 17 years ago. On this occasion as well, VZMD associates would like to express their profound gratitude for all his work and contributions.
