The Dark Side of Thought
I sent my poem ‘The Dark Side of Thought’ with an earth-based transmitter to the moon and amateur radio operators from all over the world caught the rebounded signal. The audio in this film is filtered from the distorted answer of the moon. Earth-Moon-Earth (E.M.E.) is a form of radio communication whereby messages from earth are reflected from the surface of the moon, and then received back on earth. The poem is a list of my biggest fears, with the idea that I cry them to the moon.
The project is part of the subthemes Human and Artificial Creativity, Future prospects and Connect not divide.

The film begins in our days when a boat of refugees collapses in the sea. Suddenly, we find ourselves witnessing the tragedy of the Évian Conference in 1938, which was held to discuss the crisis of Jewish refugees. No one has learned the lesson.
